Marcus' first time as a Page Boy

My dear cousin Adelene (who shares the same bday as me) got married Nov last year and I just got the pics of Marcus...She's been too busy with her new house and work that she gave me the pics late..but still...its really nice. The guy that took pics of her actual day wedding was the same guy who did mine..He is THE BEST man...He's really good @ what he does...Bernard from Beetles @ Work...Cool guy...Heard he just got married also...Congrats to him....

Wonder how its like to be a wedding photographer...You prob have to work on weekends and public holidays all the time! Like me! Haha...I also wonder who took pics for Bernard when he got married...And when he sees the pics...will he be like: 'I could have done a better job' or hmm....'Why din he/she take pics in another way?'

My wedding Pics...

My wedding anniversary is coming up...on the 21st of May to be exact...Been married for 3 years now...Doesn't seem like a long time when I say it...but with a kid and another coming up...u really forget how fast time seem to go by esp when they grow up so fast...

I was really lucky cuz I had many awesome students and even parents who came to my wedding...relatives and friends came too of course...Would like to share a few photos of this very special day with u guys next time...My brother and 'brothers' ROX man!! They helped me with soooo many of the wedding stuff that I din have to worry about a thing...all they wanted me to do was just to say 'I DO'...hahaha....they are the best man!

My wife was dolled up by this great wedding studio called 'Bridal Veil'..They were really friendly and nice. Michelle is the main gown designer and we got along with her really well...I look forward to visiting her again aft my little princess is born...

I will post a flash presentation done by my wife's friend's hubby...He is a great guy man...Went thru so much trouble to do such a superb presentation, took pics of all the friends that I wanted to thank in the flash called 'Friends' and yet he din include a pic of himself even thou I insisted he did! Jian Hong...He's a really good guy man!

I tired to upload the 2 Flash files that were played on the night of my wedding itself but i can't seem to get it up so I guess I will have to content with letting u guys see some of the day photo shots...Will upload the night photo shots another day...SO many!!

Where is my TAGBOARD???

Ok, I have finally changed my skin.. Many Thanks to Hazel for writing such a detailed list as to how I go about doing it...I have a new skin...BUT WHERE IN THE WORLD IS MY BRLOVED TAGBOARD!!! Does it mean I have lost all the previous postings on my Tagboard??!!! If somebody here can help me..pls like sms me or tell me how to retrieve my tagboard...PLS!!!

In fact, this is not the skin I chose from blogskins..I chose one with the Ferrari Modena 360 since there was no F430...But this was how it turned out...Not that I dun like it...BUT WHERE IS MY TAGBOARD???!!

The EPL season is over and I will pretty much be starved of football for like two long months...But at least there is Euro 2008...Haha...Really looking forward to that man...and when Euro ends...EPL starts again...

If u din know it by now..I am an Arsenal fan...My bro loves Newcastle...One thing thou...We both can't stand Man U and of course Chelsea...Its tiring being an Arsenal fan...I mean like...look how close they went to winning the League and Champs league again...but its the same old story every year...CLOSE!!! Nobody remembers people who got close to winning...everybody remembers the winner! Look at the US presidential Democratic Nominee...Hillary Clinton gave it a hellava good fight man. (even thou she was the favourite right from the start until Obama went on a Super run) But of Obama becomes president..who will ever ever remember the fact that Hillary Clinton ever gave him a real fight??? No one is gonna remember Arsenal going close to winning the 2008 EPL title...We Arsenal fans are always brought to such a high at the beginning of the season...then at the climax...somehow...just somehow...injuries, bad ref decisions, bad luck or just simply not being good enough....We will get knocked out somewhere...I just read that Arsene Wenger (thou I love the way he groomed the team to play attack minded football) is not gonna buy many players...Flamini has left...The team is like a skeleton now..so bare...wat next?? Chelsea just spurged 16 mil on one player...Thats prob wat Arsenal will spend in 2 seasons...The logic is simple..U pay for wat u get..U dun wanna pay..forget abt the trophies...simple as that....

Its kinda the same for us teachers...We have to remake ourselves...Look at our students nowadays...My kids have blogs and are playing games via the internet when all I did at that age was to like play toys and study...Its not easy to gain the respect of kids nowadays..They know so so much...What makes them wanna listen to u?? We have to just keep on upgrading and improving...It doesn't have to come with spending lotsa money I guess...Just lotsa hard work and listening...

Even as a country, we prob have to keep re-inventing ourselves...which explains why we r holding mega events like F1 and even have Universal studios and the IRs coming in...Think about it...how much can we talk about the zoo and bird park?? In fact..like I always tell my students..the IR is built FOR us! Without them, where do u think our next boom of growth is gonna come from?? The Zoo or botanical gardens huh?? Its a good move...and one that we have to take fast...else if another country had beaten us to it??? We wun have first mover advantage anymore...what will happen to us then?? we can't wait for someone to suggest b4 we do rite?? China and India are just so so big...We as a small country have to maintain the lead that our parents gave us...else this wonderful life that we have, all thanks to their hard work and them being so frugal, will vanish...faster than we think...

As a Company, Mavis is also constantly re-inventing herself...We have to...so that kids still love to come..so that we are still in tune with them...so that we CAN make a positive difference in their lives...Most of the result I have heard so far are pretty encouraging...Lets hope good news continue to roll in...

Here is a pic of me and Marcus supporting the same team...like he has a choice..Haha...maybe when he grows older, he will swap this Arsenal Jersey for a Man U or Liverpool jersy or whichever is the jersey of the 'in' team is...Derby??? Hahaha.....Who knows???

When my girl girl comes out and grows older..I will buy her one too...hahaha...my princess mah...must support her dear Daddy's team.... :)

Now that the extra lessons are like finally over, I have abit more time to spend with marcus again...esp before his mei mei comes and takes a piece of the time pie that we will be spending with him..I kinda realised recently that Marcus is always surrounded by gals his age man...He doesn't really see Ryan very often and so he sees only baby Isabelle and baby Ciara often, both of whom he really loves! He wails like everytime they have to go home or when he has to leave them...crap...He BETTER love his own mei mei man...:)



Now that I have a little princess coming into my life..I guess things are really gonna be alot different...My pocket's gonna burn cuz we gotta buy everything all over again from clothes to toys..(lucky I have alot of 'hand me downs' from ciara and isabelle). Even the way I play with them will be diff...Its just been like guys & doing guys stuff all my life and now Ithings r gonna change...Dun get me wrong, I am really looking forward to having my own little princess...I can buy nice dresses for her...spoil her and make my 'daddy's little girl' Buy her toys and take her out with Marcus and my dearest wife...

But....in addition...I will buy guns....so that if anyone....any guy i mean...tries to be funny with my little girl...I can practise my marksmanship skills...I will even take my gun collections out to show her future boyfriend u know...I wanna send out a msg kinda like ' mess around with my little girl and u mess around with ME!!' Haha...here I go again...crapping... ")



My wife and friends have also been asking...'R u gonna allow her to stay in the hostel?' Aft all, that was where I got to know my wife rite? My ans?? Sure!! Just that I will bring my guns along... buy her supper @ 2am, knock on her hostel door and say ' Girl ah! Daddy bought u supper! Come and eat! :) My gun will be pointing at the door of course...fully loaded...just in case some guy comes out...
