The Dark Knight

HELLO EVERYONE!!! :)

Sorry people...I am still really committed to my blog but finding time to update it is really quite a challenge. But when I find out that Foreign Minister George Yeo has time to update his blog given his really hectic schedule...I guess 'no time' is really no excuse..

I have been like telling all of you about 'The Dark Knight' right and how good a show it is. Believe me, if I could afford the time, I would like watch it again (Time excuses again). I am so gonna buy the DVD man. I am abit biased though. I have always like Batman since I was a kid. Spiderman and Batman. In fact, when we were young, my bro and I used to role play; he would be Superman and I would be Batman...eh don't laugh at us lah..What do you expect huh? We din have power computer games like World of Warcraft then you know...We only had these superhero cartoon t-shirts that had a flap at the back that made us kids then, think we were really some kinda Superhero...

You know, with the kinda world and technology nowadays, I kinda feel its not impossible in the future ( i dunno how long thou) for somebody to successfully become a superhero, but with those kinda power, staying upright would be really tough. Imagine, if you had those kinda powers and you can go around stopping all the bad guys in the world, wouldn't you wanna stop those bad guys at a price? Can you imagine yourself so powerful, catching baddies and putting criminal kingpins in jail and yet having to live like a pauper in the case of Spiderman? In fact, as the joker said in Dark Knight, "people will just love you when they need you, when they don't need you, they will just turn their backs on you and go against you...like what really happened in the movie. Batman was a hero who had to run away in the end even though he risked his life to save people.

Tony Stark aka Iron man is more realistic and down to earth. Tony is bloody rich, playboy and a super hero as well...Who wouldn't wanna be him? In fact, he was always at loggerheads with the Avengers in the comics cuz he always believed Superheros must not wear a mask...Spiderman and Captain America always disagreed. What do you think? If you were a Superhero, would you wear a mask?

Well...I kinda think that with the advancement of technology also, who knows? Transformers might no longer be just a fantasy in maybe 50 years? But Global warming would have killed us by then...If we have not killed ourselves in some crazy world war...

But..back to my favourite hobby now...I am VERY VERY keen to get this Batman figurine..ITS DAMN COOOOOL MAN!!!
Should I buy it?????
