Guess who i met??

Hello people,

I really hope everyone is doing fine while I am away. I have been in constant contact with Mr Nick Teo and from what I know, he really enjoys teaching u guys...esp the sec2s..hey sec1s..its not that he does not like u...its just that u guys being younger will surely take more time to warm up..:) He is quite a nice guy rite? So i din choose a baddie to take over me!

I am really not used to life in Green...Well, the good news is that I actually got a Silver for my IPPT and nearly got Marskman...which wld have meant an additional 200 bucks....Oh well....

I went back to teach the P6 kids. Would love to handle all of u guys but I dun have a choice really but well p6 kids are having PSLE and I think they really need help.

its really amaing but guess who I met man...I met the sister of my sec3 ex the other day...its really amazing. She has a baby girl and my ex apparently already has 2 kids! Gosh...Time really flies...Erm...for your info anyway...we were together for abt 3 months and my next gf was when I was 20 and finally, my 3rd became my wife which means rest of my life! ")

Talking abouit my sec3 ex...we got to know each other in Sunday class...there was this particular church camp which we attended together and she was kinda proactive in trying to get to know me better...We got to gether after the camp and only went out together like 3 times?? Haha...pathetic rite? well as I told u...my mum was real strict with me! After we broke up, I remembered her ignoring me for like damn long and even when we met in CJC after sec sch. I kept smiling at her but she like totally bo chap me...she got together with her boyfriend now husband then in JC1...I quite respect them..imagine??? 17 years old got together and then got married...I dun see many last so long. Anyway, there was this religous moral education class in which we attended togther and one day, we were asked to share about how the bible helped and guided us in life..Guess what? We were placed in the same group! When it was her turn to share, guess what she shared?

She said she had a really tough time in sec3 cuz she broke up with someone and that was hard to take...she turned to prayer and the bible...and eventually got over it after some time...

I needed to react man...when it was my turn, i went like...."Ye know, its a real coincidence but I had a real tough breakup in sec 3 too! And I think that the girl doesn't know but I was really affected as well...I kinda turned to God but it din help so I had to take quite abit of time to get over it..."(Frankly..It was a big fat lie!)

Well, I dun know if that was the best thing to say but she started saying 'hi' to me from then on...its always nice to have a friend rather than an enemy who like doesn't even wanna acknowledge u when u smile at them...

Well..whatever the case is..i wish her and her sis all the best...They are nice people...Who knows??? Our paths may cross again in the future and I may even have the honour of teaching their kids next time!!!

Happy Lunar New Year!!!!

Hi One and All,

Happy New Year to everyone! May the year of the Rat bring all of you and your families good health (which is the most most important) and success in all you do!

I was watching the Lunar New Year countdown and believe it or not. Although I am a Catholic and am not supposed to believe in such things...I look forward to hearing the predictions for my chinese zodiac sign alot. Sometimes when I think about it, I find it ridiculous. If the predictions are really good for that year...So EVERY SINGLE person who is born in the same year as I am is gonna have a superb year? So if its a student, then is that whole batch of kids gonna like excel and nobody fails??? Hmm....if only life was that good. Or if the geomancer says people born in that year is gonna do badly...who's gonna do well then?

But well...its still interesting nevertheless to hear the predictions. I missed the Horse one so I'll prob have to read it somewhere else. The best thing is, different Shifus say different things. The information given to them are exactly the same but of course, different Shifus will interprete it differently...

I read one particular one chinese zodiac sign prediction in 2006 written by a shifu from a temple which had a particular golden statue. (That was year of the golden dog...the year my son was born)

For Rat....It will be a good year for work, marriage....Must take care of health as the dunno which star is not in your favour. Touch the golden statue for better luck...(ok..better do it...dun pray pray)

For Ox......It will not be a good year. The dunno which stars are not looking favourably upon you. Look out for business failures. Touch the golden statue often for good luck. (Ox must also touch??)

For Tiger....It will be a relatively good year for you. Do be wary of gambling too much..(like we din know that) Touch the golden statue for more good luck...(erm...sounds familiar rite?)

ok people...you get the idea...basically...you dun touch the golden statue...you are done for baby!!

BUT...even though I sound skeptical...My family and I still read those put out in places like Chinatown and Bugis.

In fact, after my dad read the prediction for his zodiac sign. (indicating a good year for him) he started to talk about how he did this thing rite and that thing rite and how it all contributed to a good year...erm...din have the heart to tell him that the new year has not officially started yet...Its amazing isn't it? Sometimes after we read such things, we simply attribute eveything, good or bad, to all the predictions rolled out at the start of the lunar new year...

Well....nvm...GONG XI FA CAI EVERYONE!!!
